i’m interested in buying a portable turntable.
i do not want to make an uninformed decision.
is there anyone out there who can give me some suggestions of brands/styles/specific turntables that are worth the money i’m willing to spend?
when someone tells you their favorite song (of all time, ever written)
and when you listen to that song for the first time
it’s like you have this part of them, a secret, a something i can’t really describe
i don’t know if it’s like that for everyone, though
but when i share music i love with someone, it’s taking a risk
because i trust them to tell me if they don’t like it
and i trust them to not smash it to bits
The Big Bulletin Board
So, finally, here’s a picture of the big bulletin board that has been assembled. It’s got some letters and messages from you guys, some stacked together. Up in the left corner is a map of the United States. According to our records, we’ve sent or received mixes from 19 states in the almost year and a half that we’ve been doing this. We’ll be hassling you all soon to get us those other 31 states. Where are you guys!?
